You have to purchase the software before being able to download the beta version. While Rekord Buddy 2.0 is in public beta, it’s a paid public beta. With this software, DJs can be more prepared to play on any of the three major DJ platforms without more investment in library prep time. Your entire DJ library is imported and all of your metadata is synced across Rekordbox, Serato, and Traktor.Īs a DJ who has taken the time previously to analyze my library multiple times, just to have it available in more than one software, this saves a tremendous amount of time. This required a bunch of editing as well though as it does with Traktor TBH. I can 100% understand your frustration and TBH I have been using Serato to create all my beat grids and such since day one (back when SSL used Ableton bridge to introduce them) thus I never had to rely on Rekordbox or Traktor for beat grids etc. I have it but it is not something that can be transferred between users unfortunately. Are you planning on moving to Traktor? That is the only software RB 1.0 converted to.
